    Just a small sudgestion here. We should probobly change the name from Knight to Warrior. Reason; Knights are usually classified as more defensive classes, while Warrior is usually all around.

    Another thing. People constantly forget this, but what if players want a charecter that is balanced in both magical and melle skills? Why not allow the player to weild sheilds and swords, while still enabling them to burn or freeze there opponents? As for now I can only list draw backs and usable equipment/spell, but is questions are asked then I could probobly answer.

    Obvoius drawbacks would be epicly longer leveling and/or development, aswell as restricions to weapons, armor, and spells. Such a class should probobly be restricted to lower and med lvl spells. The only usable weapons would exceed to Daggers, Longswords, and Maces. Armor would be leather, chain, and (maybe) plate.

    Pleas consider this idea.

    It was originally a warrior, but we like the term "Blood Knight" better for this warrior style gameplay. Also, that way if you pick "Knight" you can change to "Holy Knight" or "Dragon Knight" a little more easily than just making a new character.

    Spell warrior is mostly accpeted as Shaman who use maces and axes imbued with Frost fire and wind also they are known to have made pacts with the elements and are able to summon them to there side

    That is correct as using heavy armor would cause them to be quite overpowered

    Light armor dammit. Maybe the Shaman can be an offbranch of the spell warrior class (which would only be un-over powered because of an uber long time to level.)

    Sad it doesn't need swords maces and axes do the class justice as they fight not becuase they want to (people train in the way of the sword) they fight becuase of a need to (axes and maces are easy to make and self master)

    We do have knights with magic, that's the "Dark Knight" and the "Holy Knight" if you want element based attacks, you want the Shaman, shamans do wear heavy armor, but they would have similar spell damage of that the paladin has, it wont be overpowered, I promise.

    I would love shaman if it had the use of swords. Im not really all for heavy weapons.

    Just another little tidbit(Double post FTW!!!): Can warriors (and all classes in general)weild weapons in both of their hands? Im seeing that its usualy speedy chars only, and it really makes no sence what so ever. "I can weild two weapons, even though I have little strength, because I'm FAST!!!"

    Not every class gets every weapon it's what a balanced gear system is based off of

    The length of time to lvl does <font color=red>NOT</font> determine how overpowered/underpowered a class is.

    Classes that can duel weild don't use LARGE heavy weapons daggers and one handed maces warriors are duel weilding varys by class

    What about long swords. And wouldnt duel weilding heavier weapon's decrees something such as attack speed or damage?

    I was thinking of having the speed of weapons alter the Global Cool Down (high damage abilities will maintain it's own cds... but if you wanted to apply a bleed or something; it can be done quicker on a fast weapon) of all physical moves ... kind of like how haste did in wow

    (exept haste will be a very rare stat to obtain... I may not be even let it be able to be obtained at all.

    I would much rather have people have a simple choice of stats instead of like "DO I GET STR, AGILITY, DEX, HASTE OR ARMOR PENETRATION WHICH IS BETTER?" "I DUN NO ITS SO CONFUSING WAT DEY DO?" "I TINK STR IS ALWAYS BEST" "NAW HASTE FTW!!!" "AGIL PWNS" "SHUT UP, UR A TEEF" "U NUBS, ARMOR PEN BEST FOR BOSSES CAUSE TEY HAVE TONS OF ARMUR" "YEH DAT GIANT MAGE'S CLOTH MUS BE WORT LIKE 20,000 ARMURS"
    [Ironicly <a href=https://myfantasymmorpg.forumotion.com/player-abilities-elements-gear-stats-f5/armor-ranks-t44.htm>I layed out the foundation of armor</a>; and at max gear/lvl a player will not have any more than 5k armor])


    ... by the speed of the weapon some cases may be more powerful than others i need to talk this idea over with Hunny.

    GCD Based on the Weapons skill is a great idea stick with it (for physical that is)

    Example:

    Thief has 1 sec dagger, GCD = 1 second
    (kick still a 10 sec cd, stun still 30 secs)

    Warrior has a 3 sec Two handed Axe, GCD = 3 second
    ("Mortal Strike" still 5 seconds, Charge still 15 seconds)
