It was suggested that we add vampire as a class I thought this would be the best place as like a fallen monk or something along those matters think weaker version of monk with like warlock powers and a flying form dependent on the weather or something feedback go go

Re: Vampire
If there is this class, i agree it should come out of the monk classes since it would most likely use spells (curses, life/mana leeching, etc) as well as melee. then comes the role it plays. dps, support, or tank? yes i went there, 'tank', considering a vampire is supposed to be immortal. that doesnt mean it can be allowed to walk all over players making them... ahem, SOIL themselves apon seeing it.

Re: Vampire

Re: Vampire
As much as I'd love to see a bard forcing everyone to do "Thriller" Lets not give everything a dark form i just thought as since Monks and Vampires seem to be two sides of the same coin it would be good to add in and Ygg to answer to what you saidKejin wrote:Maybe give all classes an aspect of darkness.
it would be a job advancement not something you'd be from Level 1Yggdrasil wrote:if anything to make a horrible analogy it should function something like deathknight later on and should not be available right off the bat IF anything i'm still very uneasy about the subject

Bard is a subclass of the class Scholar. We'd be giving scholors a form of the dark side, not Bard.

This is how it works:
Lvl 10, player upgrades to a Monk.
Lvl 30, player upgrades to a Vampire (or Fallen Monk)

Re: Vampire
Lets get this thread back on topic please i'm aware that a lot of youj think the idea of vampire is weird but to be ceral not one person has voted no, so i'm thinking we go ahead and make this a offical subclass under the name of Fallen Monk

Re: Vampire
The name "Fallen Monk" is fine, really badass even, but we should NEVER add a class or race such as a Vampire. IT WILL BRING UPON A MASS OF NOOBS!!! We should avoid making the mistake that WoW did with their new class.

Re: Vampire
WoW Dumbed down quite a lot then introduced a class that was already equiped with gear and a level that would take any other normal player using a normal class anywhere between 1-2 months to get

Well we're putting this stuff in from the beginning, so new players will be bombarded with lots of new stuff at once. I'll add the subclass forum now.
